About WTS

Wyvern Training Services has evolved from the original ATB group network set up in Herefordshire and Worcestershire in the 1980s and goes from strength to strength. The Group continues to be essentially Farmer/Grower led and delivers a broad range of training courses and other services for members and their employee.

Wyvern Training Services welcomes membership from all types of business. The training group has currently around 130 members, spread throughout Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire and Gloucestershire and numbers are growing. Membership currently includes a wide range of businesses from smaller family based businesses to some of the country's largest producers in their sector. That said you don't need to be a member to work with us.

Rather than having a central training centre and asking our members to come to us, we run courses 'on-site' at member's holdings and at locations throughout the area. As a training group we seek to provide the best possible service for our members, and where a member requires specific training then we are happy to tailor a course or programme to suit their needs. We can arrange 'in house' training and courses for members whenever required.

Membership to Wyvern Training Services costs only £35.00 + VAT per year. For this you not only get access to all our training courses and services and visits to discuss individual business needs, but regular newsletters, important information pertaining to aspects of health and safety and updates on new legislation. Courses are charged on an individual basis dependent on associated costs.

Our instructors are all practitioners of the skills they deliver. Most are either farmers, growers or arborists themselves, so have a sound understanding of the needs of the members as well as being highly skilled in their subject area. They are all highly qualified and quality assured. Most are registered with Lantra Awards and deliver approved and accredited programmes.
